Cherry Blossom session in VA Beach

SPRING time is here! The time when even the person who has never encountered any pollen allergy in her life, till she moved to VA, will be sneezing like crazy :) That is me! But even so, it’s all worth it because the blooming trees all over the Hampton Roads make me to happy and I am ready to photograph all the beautiful families right in those trees!

End of March/beginning of April (depending on the blooms) I am hosting my once-a-year Mommy & Me Minis! These happen at my secret and favorite cherry blossoms spot. It’s NOT Red wing park. That park is pretty but not for lifestyle family photos, it’s way too busy and it’s 1000x more crowded during cherry blossoms. Let me take you to my fav place! Spring is obviously not only about cherry blossoms, the nature wakes up, the parks start looking gorgeous again and the air warms up so the golden hour, just before sunset, feels amazing again. Spring is such a great opportunity to have your family photos done IF:

1. You have small kids who go to bed early. My sessions happen 1 hour before sunset and that might be too late for your kids in summer when golden hour happens around 8PM.

2. You don’t want to be sweaty during your shoot. Let’s be honest, it’s HOT in VA in Summer. If you want to avoid having photos taken during those heat waves, let’s do it now!

3. You love color on your photos! Yes, beaches are amazing but adding some color and coordinating it with your outfits can have a huge impact on your photos.
